Edward Zelasko died on Saturday May 17, 2014 at his home in the Dayton section of South Brunswick Twp. He was 93 years old. Mr. Zelasko was born and raised in Monroe Twp. He later lived in Jamesburg before moving to Dayton. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was a laborer for Masonry Union Local 472 in Newark. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Carolyn (Dey) Zelasko and his second wife, Mary (Brusyo) Zelasko. He is survived by two sons, Edward R. Zelasko and his wife Jane of Monroe Twp., and William Zelasko of South River, his step-dauther, Susan Westervelt of East Brunswick, his step-son, John Glova, his brother, Charles Zelasko and his wife Rhoda of Englishtown, two grandchildren, Edward J. Zelasko, and Karlee Zelasko, one great-grandson, Miles A. Zelasko, one step-great-grandson, Dainyon, and many other extended family members. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday May 20, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday May 21, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dayton Cemetery, Dayton.
