Obituary of Phyllis M. Sarni

Phyllis M. Sarni – Greenbriar @ Whitingham, Monroe Twp., NJ Phyllis M. Sarni, 78, died on Friday April 25, 2014 at her residence, Greenbriar @ Whitingham in Monroe Twp., NJ. Phyllis was born October 18, 1935 in Endicott, NY; she resided in Brooklyn, NY for most of her life before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1995. Phyllis was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Italian Club and Bocce Ball Club of Greenbriar @ Whitingham. She also loved watching General Hospital, Young and the Restless, Dancing With the Stars, and taking trips to Atlantic City. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Vito Sarni (2001), a daughter, Barbara Ann Sarni (1964), a brother, Jimmy Settipane and a sister, Ida Rizzo.. Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Dawn Marie Argentina and her husband Stephen of Fords, NJ, three sons: Peter and his wife Lauren of Millstone Twp., NJ, William and his wife Joann of Staten Island, NY, Thomas and his wife Kelly of East Stroudsburg, PA., four brothers: Tommy, Tony, Jasper, Joey, a sister, Laura Fagan, twelve grandchildren: Michael, Christina, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Laurie, Samantha, Stephen, Sabrina, Taylor, Sabrina Leigh, Thomas, Skyla, two great grandchildren: Matthew and Erik and one great grandchild on the way. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am on Tuesday April 29, 2014 at the Calvary Chapel Crossfields - 15 Half Acre Road - Jamesburg, NJ 08831. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park – South Brunswick. . Visitation will be Monday April 28, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Tuesday morning from 8:15 -9:15am at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road – Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Donation cards to the Gideon Bible Society will be available at the service. Bibles, dedicated in Phyllis' name, will distributed through your donation.
