Obituary of Donald Maguire, Sr.

Donald Maguire, Sr. died on Thursday April 3, 2014 at his home in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. Mr. Maguire was born and raised in Orange. He resided in Menlo Park Terrace for many years before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1982. He was a transit advertising executive for VanNatten Advertising in Orange until his retirement in 1992. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1952. He was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Julia (McEnerney) Maguire in 1985, and his daughter, Sharon Staats in 1995. He is survived by three children, Kathleen Morolda and her husband Nicholas of Monroe Twp., Marian Bossard and her husband Richard of Monroe Twp., and Donald Maguire, Jr. of Monroe Twp., his son-in-law, Richard Staats, Sr. of Redondo Beach, CA, eight grandchildren, Adam Morolda (Elyse), Casserly Shea (Garrett), Zachary Morolda (Kim), Nicholas Morolda, Caitlin Ciancimino (Paul), Kyle Bossard (Stacey), Emma Scarpulla (Brian), and Richard Staats, Jr., five great grandchildren, Olivia, Christian, Julia, Zoe, and Conner, and many other extended family members. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am on Saturday April 5, 2014 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. Interment is private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the M.
