Obituary of Eugene R. Bierman

Eugene R. Bierman – 76 – Dayton, NJ Eugene R. Bierman died on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at The Pavilions at Forrestal in Princeton, NJ. He was 76 years old. Mr. Bierman was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He lived in New Milford, NJ for three years before moving to Kendall Park in 1966, and finally to Dayton in 1976. He was a shop coordinator and line supervisor for the NYC Transit Authority for 25 years and later worked as a custodian for Mercer County Special Services School until his retirement in 2003. Eugene proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Cold War. He was also a member of the South Brunswick Senior Center. Eugene is preceded in death by his wife Theresa A. Mierisch (2007). Eugene is survived by two sons, Ken and his wife Marta of Monmouth Junction and Christopher and his wife Denise J. of East Windsor, a brother Harold of Yonkers, NY, a sister Anna Disdiel of New Milford, NJ and two grandchildren, Michael and Kayla T. He is also survived by many other extended family members. A funeral service will be 11:00am on Monday March 24, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
