Sarah Abate – 55 – Perrineville, NJ
Sarah Abate passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014. Sarah was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Marlboro for 12 years before moving to Millstone Township in 1996.
Sarah was a legal Administrator at Bondy & Schloss in New York City before giving up her career to become a housewife and raise her family. She loved cooking and was an avid photographer.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Nicholas A. Abate, her son Joseph M. Abate and her daughter, Nicole A. Abate, all of Perrineville, NJ and her brother in law, Joseph Abate of Oxford, CT. Also surviving are many other extended family members.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday February 28, 2014 from 6-9pm and Saturday March 1, 2014 from 12-2pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A memorial service will follow the gathering on Saturday at 2pm at the funeral home.
