Obituary of Anne M. Miklos

Anne M. Miklos – 85 – Monroe Twp., NJ Anne M. Miklos died on Thursday February 20, 2014 at her home in Monroe Twp. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Miklos was born in New Brunswick and was raised in South Amboy. She lived in Sayreville for 65 years before moving to Renaissance @ Monroe in 2005. She was class of 1946 Valedictorian at Sayreville High School. She was co-owner and operator of Miklos Floral Shop in Sayreville for 58 years before her retirement in 2005. She was a member of the Parlin Women's Club, South Amboy Jr. Women's Club, and the Union of Polish Women in America Group 81 in Sayreville. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Victories RC Church, Sayreville. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Raymond R. Miklos, Sr. of Renaissance @ Monroe, Monroe Twp., two sons, Raymond R. Miklos, Jr. and his wife Susan of Madison, CT, and Jeffrey Miklos, Sr. and his wife Leslie of Mickelton, her daughter, Elyse and her husband Andrew of New York City, her sister, Margaret Eastman of Florence, SC, her sister-in-law, Mary Jane of Parlin, four grandchildren, Jeffrey Miklos, Jr., Amy Miklos and her husband Evan, Raymond Miklos, III, and William Harrison, one great grandson, Emmett Miklos and many other extended family members. A memorial gathering will take place from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Monday February 24, 2014 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A memorial service will commence at the conclusion of the gathering hours at 1:30pm. Entombment of Anne's cremated remains will follow in the Brgd. Gen. Wm. C.
