Ed Mixtacki, 67, passed away Tuesday, February 18, at home. Ed was born in South River, New Jersey and lived his life in Middlesex County. Ed had a heart transplant on February 5, 1995. With 4 300 games under his belt, Ed was an avid bowler and was a fixture on bowling lanes across the country since 1968. Ed is survived by Joann (Caruso), his beloved wife of 41 years; son, Brian; daughter-in-law, Julie; and precious grandson, Max, from Bethlehem, PA; sister-in-law Debi Caruso; brother-in-law John Caruso; niece Heather and her husband Bill Logan; niece Kellie Best and her fiancé Eric Wysokowski and four great nephews, Tyler, Aiden, Andrew, and William of Monroe. A private cremation was entrusted to the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home and a memorial for family and friends will be planned for a later date.
