Margaret F. Bruno – 84 – Monroe Township, NJ Margaret F. Bruno was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Belle Mead, NJ where she lived most of her life before moving to Florida and then to Monroe Township, NJ two years ago. Margaret received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from St. Francis College and went on to receive a Master's Degree in Education at Adelphia University. Throughout her career she taught a variety of grades from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. Her favorite was Fourth Grade. At the age of eighteen, Margaret, entered the convent and was a Nun for her entire life. She was known as Sister Mary Verena and kept her vows throughout her life. Margaret was an avid music lover, adored her family and enjoyed an occasional trip to Atlantic City. Margaret was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church. She is survived by her brother Frank Bruno and his wife Josephine of Philadelphia, PA, a nephew, Frank Bruno Jr., his wife Coulette and their two children, Matthew and John of Philadelphia, PA, a niece, Louise San Nicola, her husband Joseph and their two children, Gabrielle and Nick of Millstone Twp., NJ. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 8:45am from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road Monroe Township. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church – 185 Applegarth Road Monroe Township. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery – Middle Village Queens, NY. Visitation will be Friday February 7, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Margaret's name to the Alzheimer's Association. www.alz.org
