Mr. Domenick E. Loprete died Thursday, December 19th at Robert Wood Johnson-University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 97 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, he lived there then Cape Coral, FL for 20 years, finally moving to Greenbrier in Monroe
Township in 2003. While serving in the US Army Intelligence Corps. during WW 2 he achieved the rank of Captain. He had a 40+ year working career in the automobile industry as a salesman at Trio Motors, a Lincoln-Mercury dealership in the Bronx and later was the sales manager at Kings Plaza AMC-Jeep in Brooklyn, retiring in 1980. He had a life time love of all animals.
He was pre-deceased by his son-in-law, Sgt Brian Moore, US Army, 2003. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Phyllis (Ciago), two daughters, Margaret Rose Kukafka and her husband, Dr. Sheldon, MD, of Monroe Township and Rose Margaret Moore of W. Pueblo, CO. Also surviving are two grandsons, Jay Patrick Kukafka and Alexander Jacob Moore.
Friends and relatives are invited to the funeral liturgy at 10:30am Monday at Nativity of Our Lord RCC, Monroe Township. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, So. Brunswick.
