Obituary of Louis T. DeGrazia

Louis T. DeGrazia died on Saturday November 16, 2013 at his home in Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. He was 65 years old. Mr. DeGrazia was born and raised in Brooklyn. He lived in Staten Island, NY for 35 years before moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 2010. He was a pension fund administrator for IBJ Schroeder on Wall Street for 17 years and, later, was a school bus driver for Pioneer Transportation in Staten Island for 12 years. He retired on November 1, 2013. He was a high school football official for 40 years for the Public School Athletic League that covered the five boroughs of NY. He was an avid golfer and was a spinning enthusiast. He was a secretary for the Clearbrook Golf Advisory Committee and a board member of Clearbrook Section 14. He was also a founding member of the Boomers Club of Clearbrook. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jeanne (Fischetti) DeGrazia of Clearbrook, Monroe Twp., two sons, Louis P. DeGrazia and his wife Alexandria of South Amboy, and Matthew T. DeGrazia and his significant other, Louis Aurrichio of Hartsdale, NY, and three grandchildren, Louis, Alexander, and Angelina. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am on Monday November 18, 2013 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. Cremation is private. There will be no formal visiting hours. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
