Mr. John R. McCullough died on Wednesday November 13, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 91 years old. Mr. McCullough was born and raised in Newark. He lived in Brick and Freehold before moving to Encore, Monroe Twp. in 2011. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a buyer for Otis Elevator Company in Harrison and later was a school bus driver for the Freehold Twp. Board of Education. He retired in 2003.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn (George) McCullough of Encore, Monroe Twp., his daughter, Susan Peters of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., and one granddaughter, Tara Conforto and her husband David of Sharon, MA.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc.
