Marie M. (Timmes) Melchior died on Sunday October 13, 2013 at Cranbury Center in Monroe Twp. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Melchior was born and raised in Brooklyn. She lived in Highland Park and Paterson before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2005. In addition to raising her family as a homemaker, she was a factory worker for Nabisco and later for Private Label Cosmetic Co. She loved animals of all kinds, had a great sense of humor, and especially enjoyed spending time with children. She is survived by her two children, Scott Bennett and his wife Mary of Monroe Twp., and Marie "Patti" Conley and her husband Richard of Belmont, OH, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be 1:30pm on Sunday October 20, 2013 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Visitation is Sunday from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
