Obituary of Robert H. Diblin

Robert H. Diblin – Jamesburg, NJ Robert H. Diblin, 88, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday September 18, 2013, with his family by his side along with his favorite cat Itty Bitty . Robert was born, raised and resided in Jamesburg his entire life. Robert was employed by Okonite Cable, as a factory worker, for thirty six years, retiring in 1994. He proudly served his country during WW II and was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient. Robert was a past member of the First Baptist Church of Jamesburg. He loved flowers, especially, amaryllis and was an avid golf fan, once having the privilege of meeting Arnold Palmer. Robert is survived by his loving wife of fifty eight years, Ruth Diblin, of Jamesburg and two daughters: Robin McGuire and her husband James of Hamilton, NJ and Cindy Parlacoski and her husband Peter of Helmetta, NJ. Robert is preceded in death by two brothers: Alvin and Lester Diblin, and five sisters: Doris Szczepanik, Virginia Diblin, Elaine Stansfield, Madeline Urstadt and Ruth Sherman. Visitation will be Monday September 23 rd from 10-12pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd – Monroe Twp., NJ.
