We have lost a great neighbor and friend. We ask "Who will review the books that we read" We always shared our views on the new books, the old ones too. Donna understood the joy of reading and sharing. The good one the bad one and the really ugly books, that we swapped over the years?" " Who will just take the time to look over our way and give a bright smile and wave?" The sincerity of your friendship and support when we too, were combatting illness will never be forgotten. Donna, may you also know, that we will offer all our support to Matt and Bryan and your loving family as they were your most important part of your life.
We have been Blessed to have shared in you too short a life and we will seek comfort in the many, many memories you have given each and every one of us. You have touched many lives, and have enriched us all. God Has Blessed all of us who knew you.
Until we meet again in heaven, may you rest peacefully and lovingly in the our Lords protection.
Rest in Peace.

To My Sister and all who knew her,
Donna is an amazing person and everyone who has come in contact with her has shared the experience of what a wonderful and caring person she is. Just because she isn't here with us today does not mean she is gone. She will live in the hearts of all of us and we will carry her with us always. Donna you are such a special person. We love you!

I believe Donna always lived her life to the fullest. She did it all. She worked her way through college, entered the workforce, and followed her dreams to California as a young Adult. Later she became a good wife, a loving mother, and she loved her family with all that she had. Donna was a bright light in a sometimes dark world, and as lucky as we all were to have her in our lives, she was blessed as well. Blessed with a mother (Janet) and father (Butch) who would have each traded places with their daughter if they could, a sister (Kim) who brought Donna more comfort in the final chapter of her life than she will ever know, and a brother (Adam) who gave his sister his heart from the day he was born.
Donna will live on Kim. In Matt, in Bryan, in all of us...
Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled... My Father's house has many rooms; I am going there to prepare a place for you... I will come back and take you to be with me" (excerpts from John 14; 1-3)

We all have friends in our lives that love us and accept us for who we are, even when we disagree. But every once in awhile someone comes into our lives that just "get's you." You never have to explain yourself, or why you think the way you do because they get it. Donna Rittler was that person to me. A Friendship that has lasted and endured new
relationships, struggles through marriages, moves to different states,
pregnancies, other friendships, child rearing, family issues, to
work or not to work, the joys and the struggles of life. The joys and struggles
of raising boys. All of that started
with a change of shoes and a walk around the block. She is and always will be my best friend.

Mrs. Rittler, I was deeply saddened to hear that your were gone when my mom and I got the call from my brother, David. I don't want to type a long paragraph, but all I have to say is thank you very much for being very good to David. You treated him as if you were his mother: taking him to amusement parks, West Windsor Waterworks, and the trip to Lake George. You and I had many memorable conversations with each other, and I'm going to miss talking to you. I know my family and I are definitely going to miss you. Rest peacefully, calmly, and painlessly.

Matt & Bryan, I am sure you don't remember me, but my son and I were in Pack 54 with you when Donna (Mom)was a leader. I did not know she had been fighting all this time and so it came as a shock to me when I heard the news this morning. I am so extremely sorry for the loss of your wonderful wife/mother. I remember many scout meetings and outings with all of you and what a great time we had. Donna was such a beautiful person and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I will remember her always.
