Obituary of Louis T. DeMarco

Louis T. DeMarco – Monroe Township, NJ Louis T. DeMarco, 72, died at his residence on Wednesday August 21, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Louis was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He attended Tottenville High School and resided on Staten Island for most of his life before moving to Monroe Twp., NJ 42 years ago. Louis was employed by the NYC Department of Sanitation for 20 years retiring in 1988. During that time he also worked as an independent landscaper; after his retirement, Louis, worked for the Atlantic Bus Company on Staten Island as a school bus driver. Louis was an avid golfer, enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and loved to play Free Cell. He attended Nativity of Our Lord RC Church and was a NY Giants/Yankees fan. Louis is preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy DeMarco (2000) two brothers: Al and Joseph DeMarco and a sister Ann La Rocca. Louis is survived by his daughters: Denise Cassilli and her husband Angelo of Monroe Twp., Judith DeMarco of Brooklyn, NY, a brother, Anthony DeMarco of Georgetown, DE, and three grandchildren: Gianna, Isabella and Alessandro of Monroe Twp. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Monday August 26, 2013 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Saturday August 24th from 7-9 and Sunday August 25th from 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Louis's name to the American Cancer Society
