Obituary of Frances V. Cunha

Frances V. (Klaus) Cunha died on Monday July 22, 2013 at Chelsea East Brunswick Country Cottage. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Cunha was born and raised in Newark. She lived in Carteret for 45 years before moving to East Brunswick in 1997. She was a Supervising Library Assistant for Carteret Public Library for 35 years before her retirement in 1992. She was an avid bowler and was active in her community. She was a former chairperson for the Sunshine Club at The Club at East Brunswick.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Gabriel in 1995 and her sister Marion Dobson.
She is survived by three children, Judith Cunha of North Brunswick, Douglas Cunha and his wife Grace R. of Jamesburg, and Debra M. Lasasso and her husband Bill of Dayton, three siblings, Doris Spergel and her husband Albert of Nutley, Joseph Klaus of Toms River, and Robert Klaus of Hazlet, her brother-in-law Evano Cunha and his wife Barbara of Medford, MA, four grandchildren, Lindsay Lasasso, Nicole Glynn and her husband Dennis, Kristen Lasasso, and Jennifer Lasasso, two great grandchildren, Brooke, and Dennis, and many other extended family members.
Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A blessing will take place at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Cremation is private.
