Jessie Gutkowski died Wednesday July 10th at the Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was 93 years old.
Born in Newark, she lived in Sayreville for 56 years. moving to Rossmoor in Monroe Township in 1982. She was an office supervisor at Hercules Inc. in Parlin for 40 years retiring in 1983. While in Rossmoor, she was active with the Bowling and Shuffleboard Leagues. She was a former member of St. Stanislaus RC Church in Sayreville and was presently a member of St. James RCC, Jamesburg.
She was predeceased by her parents, Theodore (1976) and Bertha (Rogowski) (1974), and three brothers, Stanley (2011), Theodore (2002) and John (1994). Surviving are a sister, Helen of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. and a sister in law, Charlotte Gutlowski of Monroe Twp. Also surviving are three nieces and five nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00am Monday from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30am at St. James RCC, Jamesburg. Interment will follow in the family plot in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville. Visitation will be Sunday 2-5pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
