Obituary of Frank Falcone

Frank Falcone died Thursday July 11th at home. He was 87 years old.
Born in Brindisi, Italy, he lived in Brooklyn for 43 years, then in Staten Island before moving to Covered Bridge in Manalapan in 2005. He graduated from college in Italy and was pursuing ordination to the preisthood, when he came to the US. His life's direction changed when he met and married the love of his life, Gussie Montalbano with whom he shared over 55 wonderful years. He became involved in the food service and restaurant business and served as the maitre d at Venezia's Restaurant in Brooklyn for over 35 years, retiring in 1998. In his retirement he enjoyed history, religion, languages and his family, especially his three grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Angelo and his wife, Mindy of Manalapan, four sisters in Italy, Rosetta, Ida, Edith and Savannah, and his three grandchildren, Michael, Marissa and Rachel Falcone.
Funeral services will be 9:00am Monday July 15th from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp. A Mass will be offered at St. Gabriel's Historic Church Rt 520 Marlboro at 10:00am. Entombment will follow in the Parish Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
