Frank Sapone, Jr. died on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at his home in Holiday City Berkeley in Toms River. He was 47 years old. Mr. Sapone, Jr. was born and raised in the Bronx. He has resided in Toms River since 1998. He was a NYC Parks and Recreation Laborer and upon moving to Toms River, he worked in the same capacity for the Twp. of Berkeley Department of Parks and Beaches. He was a sports fanatic and was a diehard DALLAS COWBOY fan. He also enjoyed crabbing. He was a member of St. Barnabas RC Church, Toms River.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Xiomara (Arredondo) Sapone of Holiday City Berkeley, Toms River, his mother, Clara (Capolino) Sapone of Toms River, his father-in-law, Juan Arredondo of Dominican Republic, two step-children, Nicole Cividanes of Bangor, ME, and Kendra Cividanes of Bronx, NY, two brothers, Vincent Sapone and his wife Jill of Toms River, and Rocco Sapone and his wife Kim of Kotona, NY, four step-grandchildren, Jena Kolt, Kaira Kolt, David Soto, and Lucian MacMillan, and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30am Monday June 17, 2013 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 11:00am at St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg, followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
