Anthony S. Santanelli – Monroe Township, NJ
Anthony S. Santanelli, 90, died on May 20, 2013 at the University Medical Center of Princeton – Plainsboro. Anthony was born in Long Branch, NJ; he resided in Oakhurst, NJ for most of his life before moving to Monroe Township 19 years ago.
Anthony proudly served his country in the Army during WW II and later received his Master's Degree in Psychology from Catholic University. He was employed by the United States Army as an Engineering Psychologist, retiring in 1987. He also served as a part time professor at Monmouth University. Anthony was an avid reader, a member of the Old Guard and co-authored a few books.
Anthony is preceded in death by his wife Lucille Santanelli (1990), a daughter, Stephanie, four brothers and two sisters.
Anthony is survived by two daughters: Cheryl Becker and her husband Michael of Santa Rosa, CA, Barbara Fromhold and her husband Stan of Monroe Twp., and four grandchildren: Stephanie and Stephen Becker of Santa Rosa, CA, and Matthew and Nicholas Fromhold of Monroe Twp.
Visitation will be Friday May Friday May 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Rd – Monroe Twp. Funeral Services will begin at 8:30pm. Cremation is private. For further information please visit www.demarcofuneralhome.com
