Obituary of Florence Mary Masterson

Florence Mary Masterson – Monroe Township, NJ Florence Mary Masterson, 89, died peacefully on Sunday April 28, 2013 with her family by her side at her residence in Monroe Twp., NJ. Florence was born in Newark, NJ on February 4, 1924; she resided in Elizabeth and Sayreville for most of her life and for the past twenty five years has made Barnegat, NJ her home and most recently Monroe Twp., NJ. She was also an active member of the Catholic Daughters for fifty years. Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Masterson (1987) and a son; Edward Jr. (1966) and a daughter Mary (1954). Florence is survived by four sons: William Masterson and his wife Jacqueline, Michael Masterson, Mark Masterson and his wife Jodi and Stephen Masterson and his wife Nora, two daughters: Eileen Masterson and her husband Timothy Laffey and Florence Crews and her husband Michael, a brother, Edwin Hannon, Jr., a sister, Evelyn Stoddart, fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Friday May 3rd from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church; Monroe Twp. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery – East Brunswick. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9pm on Thursday May 2nd at the funeral home.
