I have read all the beautiful things written about Louisa. It is difficult to add to them, they are so reflective of who she was and who I knew. I still look at her house in Four Season and expect her to come out the door. She will be very missed, but can go to heaven knowing she was loved by many.

The very short period I knew her, she warmed up to me as if she was my family. I am very sorry to see her go but I realize the fact, that's where we all are headed someday. The only few moments I spent with her, she taught me a very valuable lesson, live your life to the fullest! She said not to worry about things you just can't control. She shared some of her life's most precious moments with me and I will never forget her. My heart and prayers go to her family. I only have one regret, I waited too long to see her again.

Though our time together was short, I so valued the time I got to spend with Doña Louisa. She was a wonderful and kind woman, with a generosity of spirit that's hard to find. She had such a positive influence on my life for which I'm eternally grateful. Doña Louisa, thank you for your friendship. I feel truly blessed to have met you. Vince, John, Josephine, Michael & All Grandkids, thank you for sharing Mom (and Nonna) with me.

I was blessed to have such a caring and loving woman as my grandmother. I will never forget the influence she has had on the way I think, the way I am, and the way I love. Since the day that I was born, she was one of the few people I could always count on to be there for me, no matter the circumstance. I truly believe that if I express half of the kindness and love that she showed to others, I will live and die a happy and complete man. All that she has done for me in the past 17 years has shaped my personality, my character, and has defined who I am now, and who I will be in the future. I am thankful for the time I was able to spend with Nonna, and she will never leave my thoughts nor my prayers. I will always love you Nonna.

My Nonna is one of the most influential people I have ever gotten the chance to know. I will always remember the times she took me to the pool, when she taught me how to make meatballs, and dancing with her at my sweet sixteen. I am so grateful that I got to listen to the stories of her past and her exceptional advice. I always admired the way she was able to speak her mind and stand by her beliefs. My Nonna taught me how important family is and what it means to be a caring person. Nonna will always be in my heart as I try to live my life a little more like her. I love you forever.

I haven't had many bad days in my life. To have been fortunate enough to be born the son of my mom and dad has allowed me the opportunity to believe anything is possible and to do all that I can to make other people's lives better. My mom's smile, her laugh, and her uncompromising spirit are the foundation of who I am. She taught me to respect others, and just as importantly to respect myself. To be passionate about what I believe, but to also listen and appreciate other's opinions. She taught me how to love, and to that end I have been blessed with a beautiful wife, and four endearing, prococious, strong willed, angelic children. She taught me to be true to myself while continuing to be respectful of the beliefs of others. She taught me kindness and humility. To choose to wake up every day and make other people's lives better. To be a good son, a good father, and a good friend. All that I am is because of my mom and dad. I haven't had many bad days, and that includes this one. Today, I choose to celebrate my mom. Her life, who she was, her love of her children, and most importantly her love of my dad. My mom will remain with me for all the days of my life, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

I have been a close friend of Vince, Diane and his family for many years, and know that Louisa has been very special to them. One of my memories is Vince's descriptions of the fantastic traditional; endless, Italian meals that Louisa would orchestrate, especially during holidays. Through Vince, I have followed his parents lives, and their love for their children and their extended families. Condolences to the entire greater Smeraglia family; may you carry forward the love and aspirations of Louisa. Best wishes and love to you all.
