Obituary of Margaret M. Dalton

Mrs. Margaret M. (Lyons) Dalton, died Monday April 15th at home. She was 86 years old.
Born in New York City, she lived in the New Brunswick-Somerset area for 26 years, moving to Rossmoor in Monroe Township. She had been a member of the New Brunswick Senior Citizens Center, and was a long-time volunteer at the Francis E. Parker Home . In Rossmoor, she was a member of the Emerald Society, the American-Italian Club, and the Red Hat Society. She was a former member of St. Peter's RCC, New Brunswick and was presently a member of Nativity of Our Lord RCC, Monroe Twp.
Mrs. Dalton was predeceased by her husbands, Stephen V. O'Brien, Frank DiLeo and Leo Dalton. Surviving are three sons, Stephen O'Brien (Diane), Dennis O'Brien (Margie), and Anthony DiLeo (Elizabeth), four daughters, Maureen Volpe (Thomas), Patricia Egan, (Michael), Kathleen Januzzi (Paul), and Jean Marie Newton (Timothy). Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.She is also survived by Molly, her cat.
Funeral services are Saturday at 7:45am from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:00am at Nativity of Our Lord RCC, Monroe. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation is Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
