Barbara G. (Lombardo) Lubertazzi died on Saturday April 6, 2013 at her home in Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Lubertazzi was born in Newark and was raised in Nutley. She lived in Montville for 35 years before moving to Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp. in 1998. She was an elementary school teacher in the Parsippany School District for three years prior to raising her family as a homemaker. She was an avid mahjohg and canasta player and enjoyed playing golf with her friends in the community. She was a former parishioner of St. Pius RC Church, Montville and was a current parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul P. 'Frank' Lubertazzi in 2008.
She is survived by four children, Leslie A. Guttridge and her husband G. DeWitt of Morris Co., Sandra G. Krauland and her husband Douglas of Morris Co., Glenn P. Lubertazzi and his wife Katherine E. of Morris Co., and Matthew T. Lubertazzi and his wife Colleen J. of Sussex Co., two sisters, Dolores Stanek and her husband Richard of Little Falls, and Carole Tamburro and her husband Gerald of Monroe Twp., six grandchildren, Allison, Matthew, Daniel, and Jack Lubertazzi, Gavin, and Kacie Krauland, and Jesse Guttridge, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 9:45am on Thursday April 11, 2013 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation is Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
