Elvira "Vera" (Cardito) Consalvo died on Sunday March 10, 2013 at the University MC of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Consalvo was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived there until moving to Greenbriar @ Whittingham, Monroe Twp., in 1994. She was a homemaker and was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1999, one brother, Michael Cardito, and one granddaughter, Bethany Consalvo.
She is survived by two children, Joanne Casaretti and her husband Edward of East Brunswick, and Vincent Consalvo and his wife Elida of Wayne, four grandchildren, Lauren Casaretti, and Kayla, Christian, and Shane Consalvo, and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 10:45am Wednesday March 13, 2013 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 11:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
