William D. Flynn died on Monday January 21, 2013 at his home in Encore, Monroe Twp. He was 77 years old. Mr. Flynn was born and raised in Manhattan. He lived in Queens for six years before moving to Staten Island, NY where he lived for 34 years. He has resided in Encore, Monroe Twp. since 2006. He was a supervisor for Keystone Electronics, Inc. in Queens for 34 years before his retirement in 1995. He was an avid New York Ranger, Yankee, and football Giants fan and also coached youth sports. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Christine (nee DeMartino) Flynn of Encore, Monroe Twp., one son, Kenneth W. Flynn and his wife Jo Ann of South Amboy, one sister, Patricia Malave of the Bronx, NY, one grandson, Sean Flynn of South Amboy, and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be 11:00am on Thursday January 24, 2013 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Interment will follow in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg. Visitation will be 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Central Jersey-Hospice 176 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701.
