Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister
Constance Mazurkiewicz-Bialkowski, 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 8, 2013 surrounded by her loving and devoted family.
Constance was born in Elizabeth, NJ on September 2, 1942, to Stanley and Estelle Samsel. She graduated from Battan High School in Elizabeth and from Kean College with a degree in Education. She taught elementary school in Newark and Sayreville school system prior to retiring.
Constance resided in Parlin for the past 45 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and most recently a parishioner of St James the Less in Jamesburg. She was a devoted and cherished mother, an adored and caring grandmother who had a deep love of God and dedication to her family. Constance was a fixture at all her granddaughters' athletic events. It was clear to anyone that met her that her family was most important to her.
Constance was an avid polka dancer, treasured spending time with her family and was loved by all. She had a positive and heartwarming effect on all whose lives she touched. She also had the ability to put things in perspective for all those around her.
Constance was preceded in death by her husband, John Mazurkiewicz in 1977, her second husband John Bialkowski in 1986 and by her loving parents.
She is survived by her sons: John and his wife Karen of Monroe Twp, Stan of Monroe Twp, two granddaughters: Angela and Gina and two sisters: Dolores and Cynthia. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, as well as her companion Paul Kvortek.
She will be missed more than words can express.
Funeral services will begin Saturday January 12th at 9:45am from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road – Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30am at St. James the Less RC Church – 36 Lincoln Ave – Jamesburg. Interment will follow at St Gertrude's Cemetery – Woodbridge.
