Beloved husband and father, 89 years old
Frank Seel of Monroe, NJ died peacefully on December 24, 2012 at the University Medical Center at Princeton after a short illness, surrounded by family.
Frank was born in Perth Amboy, NJ in 1923 and grew up in Perth Amboy and Woodbridge, NJ. During World War II, he served in the infantry in Europe. Frank graduated from Rider College in 1948 with a degree in Accounting. He married Marjorie Ann Shaw in 1947. They lived in East Brunswick for 43 years and in Monroe Township for the last 18 years. He worked in the financial department at Permacel Tape in New Brunswick, NJ and then at Crowell-Collier and MacMillan in New York City, NY, until his retirement in 1989.
Frank is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie, and his three sons and one daughter and their spouses: Thomas and Eleanor Seel of East Windsor, NJ; James and Jean Seel of Summerfield, NC; John and Bethanne Seel of Liberty Township, NJ; and Barbara and John Jadczak of Apopka, FL. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Eric Seel, Mark Seel, Jennifer Lansink, and Laura Seel. Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank and Alma Seel and his sister Ethel Seel.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Princeton HealthCare System Foundation, 3626 US Highway 1, Princeton, NJ 08540-9918, or a charity of your choice.
