Obituary of Virginia Scuderi

Virginia Scuderi – Monroe Twp., NJ Virginia Scuderi, 84, died on Saturday December 22, 2012 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Virginia was born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in Long Island, and made Staten Island her home for many years before moving to Clearbrook - Monroe Township seven years ago. Virginia was a homemaker and took great pride in taking care of her family. She was an active member of the PTA and a leader in both the girl and cub scouts. Virginia was an active parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church. Virginia is predeceased by her loving husband Vincent (2007), a son, John (1956), a daughter, Lorraine Slevin (2012), two brothers: Mike and Sonny, and three sisters: Grace, Rosie and Lucy. Virginia is survived by a son, Tommy Scuderi and his wife Cathy of Beachwood, NJ, a sister, Yolanda Basile of AZ., three grandchildren: TJ Scuderi of Beachwood, NJ, Christopher and Melissa and son in law, John Slevin of Neshanic Station, NJ. Funeral services will begin Thursday December 27th at 8:45am from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road – Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RCC – 185 Applegarth Rd – Monroe Twp. Interment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery – Farmingdale, NY. Visitation will be Wednesdayday December 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
