Johanna H. Casale – Clearbrook - Monroe Twp.
Johanna was born and raised in Carteret, NJ. She was a graduate of Carteret High School class of 1941. She lived most of her life in Woodbridge before moving to Clearbrook - Monroe Twp. in 1998. Johanna was a lifelong homemaker and was also employed in the composition department by the former J. Schiller Company in Linden. She was also employed by D'Orsi Bakery in Port Reading. She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Monroe Twp. and actively involved in several Clearbrook organizations which included: The Italian American Club, Bocci Club, the Catholic Society and Section 10 activities. She enjoyed ceramics and aquacise. Johanne and her late husband (Frank B. Casale) delighted in attending parties and dancing.
Johanna is the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Lloyd Moroney. She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Frank B. Casale (December 2011), two brothers: Joseph and Edward Moroney and two sisters: Mary Bacharde and Margaret Lazar.
Johanna is survived by her five children: Joanne Kocheran and her husband Ronald of Freehold, NJ - formerly of Monroe Twp., NJ, Francis Casale and his wife Patricia of Millstone, NJ, Donna Casale of Summerville, SC, Raymond Casale and his wife Andrea of Lancaster, PA and Mary Ann Fritzinger of Hillsborough, NJ, five grandsons: Richard Kocheran of Milford, NJ, Brian Kocheran and his wife Valerie of Ewing, NJ, Christopher Casale and his wife Renee of Bayville, NJ, Craig Casale of Washington Twp, NJ, Carson Fritzinger of Hillsborough, NJ, three granddaughters: Melissa Casale of Manalapan, NJ, Samantha Casale of California, Anastasia Casale of Millstone Twp., six great grandsons: Anthony, Zachary, Ryan and Nathan Kocheran, Blaise and Caiden Casale, and two great granddaughters: Amanda Kocheran and Olivia Casale.
Funeral services will begin Friday December 21st at 7:45am from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home – 205 Rhode Hall Road – Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 8:15am at Nativity of Our Lord RCC – 185 Applegarth Rd – Monroe Twp. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery – 350 Province Line Road – Wrightstown, NJ. Visitation will be Thursday December 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
