Abraham M. Lopez died on Thursday December 13, 2012 at his home in Hamilton. He was 78 years old. Mr. Lopez was born and raised in Cuba. He came to the US in 1958 and settled in Kingston, NY. He later lived in Guttenberg, NJ before retiring to Miami, FL. He previously resided in Concordia, Monroe Twp. prior to moving to Hamilton in 2010. He was a chemical operator for Meer Corp. in North Bergen until his retirement. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Bernardina in 2011, and his grandson, Erik in 2012. He is survived by his son, Abraham L. Lopez and his wife Lauren of Hamilton, his daughter, Leticia Santalla and her husband Andres of Monroe Twp., six grandchildren, and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be 10:00am Monday December 17, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Monday morning from 8:00am to 10:00am at the funeral home. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 1599 Clifton Rd NE Atlanta, GA 30329.
