Kathleen (Adams) Heuser died on Sunday December 2, 2012 at her home in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. She was 98 years old. Mrs. Heuser was born in Worcester, England, came to the US in 1926 and settled in Brooklyn. She lived in Cliffwood Beach, Matawan, Forsgate Farms in Monroe Twp, and Hightstown before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1978. In addition to raising her family as a homemaker, she was employed by Forsgate Farms, and later was a cafeteria aid for Hightstown High School for 10 years before her retirement in 1979. A devoted catholic, she volunteered in Church, and knitted prayer shawls for her local parishes. She was a former parishioner of St. James the Less RC Church, Jamesburg, and was a current communicant of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She liked to garden, loved flowers, but most of all enjoyed the time spent with her family.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles W. in 1986, and eight siblings.
She is survived by five sons, Charles Heuser and his wife Patricia of Carlisle, PA, Edmund Heuser and his wife Stephanie of Monroe Twp., James Heuser and his wife Carol of Green Valley, AZ, John Heuser and his wife Connie, and Richard Heuser and his wife Cathy of Jackson, five grandchildren, Matthew Martin, Diane Heuser, Cathleen Jernigan and her husband John, Aaron Heuser, and Rebecca Heuser, two great grandchildren, Isabella, and Helena, her loving caregiver, Agnes Enyan, and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 10:15am Thursday December 6, 2012 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 11:00am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by Interment in St. James the Less RC Church Cemetery, Jamesburg. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 8:30am to 10:15am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society c/o Nativity of Our Lord RC Church 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 in Kathleen's memory.
