John 'Jonny' Yeskevich passed away on Saturday December 1, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 55 years old. Mr. Yeskevich was born and raised in Elizabeth. He lived in Piscataway for seven years before moving to Jamesburg in 1991. He was formerly a lab technician for Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick, a printer for the National Pension & Insurance Network in New Brunswick, as well as being a hair artist. He had a passion for helping the homeless and ministered to the one's he helped and countless others. He loved music, played the drums, and wrote poetry. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Felix Yeskevich in 2010 and Olga (Zaworonek) Yeskevich in 1990. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gerda (LeBrun) Yeskevich, his mother-in-law, Gerda (Buitenhuis) LeBrun, and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be 8:00pm on Tuesday evening December 4, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A private graveside service will take place on Wednesday at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
