Rosalie Schickler, 73, passed away on Friday November 30, 2012 at her residence in Monroe Twp., NJ. Rosalie was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She resided there for most of her life before moving to Monroe Twp. eleven years ago.
Rosalie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid New York Yankees and New York Rangers fan.
Rosalie is survived by her father Salvatore Mellina of Lincroft, NJ, her loving husband, Al, of 55 years, a son, Richard and his wife Cindy of CT., two daughters: Susan Infuso and her husband Eric of Monroe Twp., Diane Avellini and her husband Hugo of Jamesburg, a brother, Frank Mellina and his wife Dolores of Middletown, a sister, Jeanne Molinari of Warren. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Erica, Joseph, Victoria, Jonathan and Noah.
The family will be accepting visitors at a rememberance gathering at Forsgate Country Club, 375 Forsgate Drive, Monroe Twp, NJ 08831 on Monday, December 3, 2012 between the hours of 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 23 Manalapan Road, Spotswood, NJ 08884 on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at 10:15am. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery – 350 Province Line Road – Wrightstown, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home.
