Obituary of Carmine J. Montuori

Carmine J. Montuori died on Saturday November 10, 2012 at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 85 years old. Mr. Montuori was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived there until moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 1990. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was a master transmission rebuilder for Imperial Transmissions, Inc. in Brooklyn for 21 years before his retirement in 1987. He was a member of the Clearbrook Italian American Club, a former president of the Clearbrook Bocce Club, a former Clearbrook section leader, and a member of the Clearbrook bowling league. He was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp.
He was predeceased by his son, Richard Montuori in 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary (Bonanno) Montuori of Clearbrook, Monroe Twp., two sons, Robert Montuori of Lakewood, and Steven Montuori and his wife Mary Grace of Staten Island, NY, one daughter, MaryAnn Miano and her husband Joseph of Holmdel, his sister, Nancy Gulino of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., eight grandchildren, Deserie, Lorraine, Yvonne, Arielle, Steven Anthony, Michelle, Joseph A., and Michael V., one great granddaughter, Madison, and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 8:45am Wednesday November 14, 2012 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Tuesday from 2-4pm at the funeral home.
