Florence (Costariol) Calvert died on Thursday September 13, 2012 at her home in Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Calvert was born in Bayonne and was raised in Clifton. She later lived in Metuchen, NJ, Pittsburgh, PA, and Stamford, CT before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1971. She was a homemaker and was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She was active in the prayer shawl ministry at church and provided many years of volunteer service to churches, colleges, and hospitals She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Raymond Calvert of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., one daughter, Patricia Mitchell and her husband William of Houston, TX, and one granddaughter, Sara Bushell and her husband Brent of Houston, TX. Private Entombment was held under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 11:00am on Monday September 17, 2012 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Rossmoor Kiwanis Food Pantry c/o Walter Murphy 342-A Narragansett Ln., Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., NJ 08831.
