Merlin O. White, 78, died at his residence on Sunday August 19, 2012. Merlin was born in Flint, West Virginia and resided in Durbin, WV before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1962. He was employed by the Kimberly – Clark Corporation for 33 years, retiring in 1993. Merlin was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting.
Merlin was predeceased by two brothers: Cordell and Robert White.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy White of Monroe Twp., two sons: Rick and his wife Kathy of Monroe Twp. and Gregg and his partner Jim of Sayreville, 4 grandchildren: Ryan, Heather, Richard and Rachel White, 4 sisters: Alice Moyers, Daisy Arbogast, Karen Gallo, and Lois Alt, 3 brothers: Henry, Arnold, and Randall White.
