Edward T. Reuter, 81, died on Wednesday August 15, 2012 at Monmouth Medical Center – Long Branch, NJ. Edward was born in Newark and resided in East Brunswick before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1990. Edward proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was also the owner of the E.R. Applebey Agency, a Real Estate company he operated, until his retirement in 2008. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, past president of the Mutual Nine at Rossmoor, and was a member of the Real Estate Association. He was a former coach for East Brunswick Little League Baseball. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Ann Reuter (1972) and a brother, Dr. William Conrad Reuter (2010). He is survived by his loving wife of 59 and ½ years, Greta Reuter, a son Thomas Reuter and his wife Nancy of Lumberton, NJ, a daughter Barbara Reuter and her husband Daniel Burkley of Hillsborough, NJ, one grandson, Austin Reuter of Lumberton, NJ, and one brother Daniel Lawrence Reuter of Massachusetts. Funeral services will begin at 9:45am Monday August 20, 2012 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 10:15am at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Spotswood followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Visitation will be from 2-5pm & 7-9pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
