Arlene K. (Miller) Walker died on Thursday June 21, 2012 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 64 years old. Mrs. Walker was born and raised in Clifton and resided there until moving to Monroe Twp. in 1973. She was a 1965 graduate of Clifton High School. She had a long career in finance and retired in 2011 as an administrative assistant for Vitiello Communications Group in East Brunswick. She previously worked as a bookkeeper and bank teller. She served for two years as secretary to the secretary of the Monroe Twp. Board of Education and was involved in many church youth activities, including teaching Sunday school, and the Pioneer Girls. She was a former member of Brookdale Baptist Church in Bloomfield, and was a current member of Sayre Woods Bible Church in Old Bridge. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Allan D. Walker of Monroe Twp., two daughters, Darlene D. Beldin and her husband Lloyd, Jr. of Mantua, and Lindy Beth Imranyi and her husband Thomas of Monroe Twp., one brother, Daniel Miller of Old Bridge, one sister-in-law, Sharon Miller of Jackson, five grandchildren, Rachel T. Beldin, Joshua Allan Beldin, Lucas V. Imranyi, Logan M. Imranyi, and Emily N. Imranyi, and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be at 11:00am Wednesday June 27, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Interment will follow in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
