John G. Kuchta died on Thursday May 24, 2012 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 82 years old. Mr. Kuchta was born in Summit. He previously resided in Jamesburg and most recently lived in North Brunswick. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW Post 7508, Old Bridge, and the American Legion Post 1000, Trenton. He was a foreman for Essco Aluminum in Parlin for 29 years before his retirement in 1990. He was a sexton at Grace Lutheran Church for 32 ½ years. He was pre-deceased by his parents, John and Zuzna (Fako) Kuchta, his first wife, Mary Jane (Reid) Kuchta, his second wife, Peggy (Oliver) Kuchta, his grandson, Anthony Kuchta, and his brother, Paul Kuchta. He is survived by three sons, Dennis Kuchta and his wife Kim of Port St. Lucie, FL, John Kuchta and his wife Cindy of Claremont, FL, and Robert 'Bert' Oliver and his wife Debbie Tabori of Jamesburg, two daughters, Cindy Lou (Reid) Sherman and her husband Bruce of Jackson, and Nancy (Oliver) Linke and her husband Albert of Jamesburg, one sister, Millie Connelly and her husband Charles of Springfield, one brother-in-law, Joseph Reid of Jackson, eleven grandchildren, DJ Kuchta and his wife Vivian, Mary Jean Kuchta, Robert Kuchta, John Kuchta, Amanda Linke, Alyssa Linke, AJ Linke, Angela Linke, Amanda K. Linke, William Sherman and his fiancée Theresa Stoble, and Melissa (Sherman) Epstein and her husband Scott, nine great grandchildren, Jasmine, Nylla, Jada, Aiden, Jordan, Gwen, Hayley, Alex, and Logan, and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be 11:00am Wednesday May 30, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Visitation will be 4-7pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
