Marion (Troy) Aliberti died on Tuesday May 22, 2012 at her home in Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Aliberti was born and raised in Hell's Kitchen, NYC, NY. She lived in Coney Island, Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, and Canarsie, L.I., NY before moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 1990. She was a secretary for Green Point Savings Bank in Canarsie and Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC, and, upon moving to Monroe Twp., worked for Princeton Borough Police Department for three years before her retirement in 1993. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Saverio J. Aliberti in 2011.
She is survived by her son, James M. DeStefano, Sr. and his wife Rosa of Monroe Twp., two sisters, Dorothy Reilly of Brooklyn, NY, and Elizabeth Sheehan of Middletown, CT, two grandchildren, James M., Jr. and Steven Tyler, niece, Mary Ellen Castellani, her dear friend, Aurdrey Rieman, and many other extended family members.
Funeral services will begin at 10:45am Thursday May 24, 2012 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 11:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be from 9:30am to 10:45am on Thursday morning at the funeral home.
