Obituary of Jeanne M. Moran

Jeanne M. (Giesler) Moran died on Monday May 14, 2012 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Moran was born in Elizabeth and resided in the Elmora section until moving to Monroe Twp. in 1997. She was a graduate of Batten High School, Elizabeth, and the Berkeley School of Business, East Orange. She retired in 1997 after 30 years as legal secretary to Matthew Wade, Esq. in Elizabeth. She was a former parishioner of St. Genevieve, Elizabeth and a current communicant of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She was active in the St. Genevieve CYO and the Union County CYO, and was a member of the St. Genevieve and Nativity of Our Lord Altar Rosary Society. She loved to host family and friends for dinner, especially at the holidays, and was an excellent knitter. She knitted and donated over 400 hats for newborn babies. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and jig saw puzzles.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward J. in 2002 and her son, John Moran.
She is survived by her daughter, Eileen A. Moran and her husband James Parolski of East Windsor, two sons, Thomas B. Moran and his wife Catherine H. of Clark, and Richard E. Moran of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, one sister, Anne L. Aselin of Monroe Twp., one sister-in-law, Mary Welsh of South Carolina, and four grandchildren, Carolyn Moran, Kevin Moran, Elizabeth Parolski, and Claire Parolski.
Funeral services will begin at 8:45am Saturday May 19, 2012 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Interment in Holy Cross Burial Park, S. Brunswick. Visitation will be 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday at the funeral home.
