Philomena A. Grecco, 78, died peacefully on Thursday May 10, 2012 at the Elms of Cranbury. Philomena was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided for most of her life in Bellmore, NY before moving to Monroe Twp. 16 years ago. Philomena was an active member of Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church. She took a special interest in her grandchildren and the sports and activities they participated in.
Philomena was predeceased by seven brothers.
Philomena is survived by loving husband of 58 years, John G. Grecco, M.D. of Monroe Twp., four sons: Michael A. Grecco, M.D and his wife Louise M. Priolo, M.D. of Staten Island, NY, Dominic M. Grecco, M.D. and his wife Lisa S. of Bedford, NY, John F. Grecco and his wife Kristine of Spring Hill, FL., and Richard Grecco of Hazlet, NJ. Two sisters: Theresa Robinson of Boca Raton, FL. and Susan Curatola of Palm City, FL. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will begin at 10am on Monday May 14th from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Township, NJ. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30am at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, Monroe Twp. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm.
