Obituary of Norma F. Amaral

Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. Norma F. (Furtado) Amaral died on Friday May 4, 2012 at Spring Mill Senior Living in Phoenixville, PA. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Amaral was born in Providence, RI, and was raised in Fall River, MA. She lived in Piscataway for 46 years before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp. in 1998. She has resided in Phoenixville since 2010. She was a homemaker and volunteered much of her time with the Girl Scouts of America, the Rossmoor Community Church, and also a local women's shelter. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Richard in 2002. She is survived by her son, Alan Amaral of Cream Ridge, two daughters, Norma Amaral and her partner JoAnn Magill of Phoenixville, PA, and Cheryl Wicks and her husband Thomas of Sparta, her brother, George Furtado and his wife Marie of Jackson, one granddaughter, Samantha Amaral, and many other extended family members. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Monday May 7, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral service will take place Tuesday May 8, 2012 at 11:00am at Lake Nelson Memorial Park Mausoleum 606 South Randolphville Road Piscataway Township, NJ 08854. Entombment will follow the service.
