Obituary of Joseph M. Feaster, Sr.

South Brunswick Joseph M. Feaster, Sr. died on Thursday April 26, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 74 years old. Mr. Feaster, Sr. was born and raised in New Brunswick and has resided in South Brunswick since 1966. He served in the US Navy and was a union electrician for local IBEW 456 in New Brunswick for 36 years before his retirement in 1997. He was a member of the Eagles AC in New Brunswick and enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and especially cherished the times he had with his grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Frank and Rita (Brestal) Feaster. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra L. (Roytos) Feaster of South Brunswick, his son, Joseph M. Feaster, Jr. and his wife Christine of Jackson, two daughters, Dianne Stockman of North Brunswick, and Debra Stab and her husband Scott of East Brunswick, three sisters, Janet Pearson and her husband Allen of Knoxville, TN, Eva Larkin and her fiancée John Fee of Eatontown, and Elizabeth Fracchia and her husband Charles of San Francisco, CA, six grandchildren, Joseph L. and Danielle Feaster, Brianne and Alexandria Stockman, and Haley and Jason Stab, and many other extended family members. A blessing will be at 11:30am on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A presentation of our nation's colors led by the US Navy Honor Guard will follow the blessing. Cremation is private. Visitation is Monday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
