Josephine (Tripod) DeLiberto died on Saturday April 14, 2012 at JFK Hartwyck at Oak Tree, Edison. She was 92 years old. Mrs. DeLiberto was born in Fossato, Reggio, Calabria, Italy, came to the US in 1927 and settled in Edison. She lived in Jamesburg before moving to Rossmoor, Monroe Twp., and, in her last years, she lived at Heritage at Clara Barton in Edison. She graduated from Clara Barton School and was employed for many years at Bonds Clothing in New Brunswick prior to becoming a lab technician at E.R. Squibb. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Nicholas V. in 2007, and two sisters, Katherine Thompson, and Mary Tripod. She is survived by her son, Nicholas J. DeLiberto, her daughter, Constance Fraler, one brother, Joseph Tripod and his wife Nancy, three sisters, Nancy Ritz and her husband Robert, Yolanda Payne, and Margaret Holzinger and her husband Stephen, one sister-in-law, Aurora Chamberlain, four grandchildren, Jason and Todd Fraler, and Nicholas, Jr. and Michael DeLiberto, and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be 12:00pm on Thursday April 19, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Interment will follow in Brgd. Gen. William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. Visitation will be 11:00am until the time of the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America Gift Processing Center P.O. Box 6062 Albert Lea, MN 56007-6662.
