Obituary of Eugenia Jakimowicz

Mrs. Eugenia (Horodniuk) Jakimowicz died Friday March 16th at the University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 90 years old.
Born in Poland, she came to the US in 1951, and eventually moved to Monroe Township in 1968. She was a former member of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy, and enjoyed knitting, gardening, and cooking and baking for her family.
Her husband, Alexander died in 1996. Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Zimmerman and her husband, Henry of Monroe Twp., Edith Potts and her husband, Thomas of Holmdel, a son, Alex of Monroe Twp., five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will take place at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp on Tuesday eveing from 7-9pm. A service will be offered at 8:30pm. Private cremation was at the convenience of the family.
