Lydia J. (Stella) LaDue died on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at her home in Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. She was 91 years old. Mrs. LaDue was born and raised in New York City. She lived in Oradell for 18 years before moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 1976. She was an executive secretary for Fallack & Co. in NYC before working in the same capacity for her family owned and operated importing and exporting business, Hasman & Baxt, Inc. in NYC, for 15 years before her retirement in 1990. She was formerly a troop leader for the girl scouts and cub scouts as well as volunteering for Deborah Hospital. She was a parishioner of Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Charles J. in 2008 and her daughter, Ann Sira in 1991. She is survived by two sons, Gerard A. LaDue of Clearbrook, Monroe Twp., and Richard A. LaDue and his wife, Mary Ellen of North Brunswick, two daughters, one brother-in-law, William Shaw of Baldwin, NY, eight grandchildren, two great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin at 8:15am on Friday March 16, 2012 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 9:00am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp., followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, S. Brunswick. Visitation is Thursday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, Inc. 7008 Little River Tpk., Box 49, Annandale, VA 22003.
