A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb 21st at 10:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RCC, Monroe Township, for Rocco John Perugino who died at St. Francis Hospital, Trenton on Feb 2, 2012. He was 85 years old.
Born in Newark, he lived in East Brunswick for 20 years, then Westfield for 12 years, moving to Rossmoor in Monroe Township in 1990. He worked in retail men's clothing sales for over 50 years, lastly for Gentleman's Corner Men's Clothing in Cranford for 15 years, retiring in 1991. He served in the US Army during WW 2 and was a long time, faithful member of Nativity of Our Lord RCC, Monroe Township.
His wife, Jean (Sasso) died in 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Fell of NYC, NY, a son, Peter of Jackson, NJ, a sister, Marie Santagada of FL., a granddaughter, Jamie Pluta and two great granddaughters, Payton and Madison Pluta.
Arrangements were entrusted to M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Monroe Township. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Hospice Center of St. Francis Medical Center 601 Hamilton Ave. Trenton, NJ 08629.
