Doris (Ripstein) Corbin died on Sunday February 12, 2012 at her home in Concordia, Monroe Twp. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Corbin was born and raised in Staten Island and lived there until moving to Concordia, Monroe Twp. She received her Master's Degree in Education from Wagner College and was a teacher for the Staten Island Board of Education. She enjoyed summers with her family on Long Beach Island.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Archer Fry, her second husband, Albert Corbin, and her daughter, Diane Leventhal.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Fry and his wife Stacey of Florida, four grandchildren, Adrienne Bolling and her husband Eric, Eric Leventhal, Shawn Fry, and Jorday Fry, and one great grandson, Eric Chase Bolling.
Cremation is private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.
In lieu of flowers, and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Ascension One Kingsley Ave. Staten Island, NY 10314.
